The Central Florida Soccer Academy will host student-athletes on three
different dates this summer.
April 8, 2009
ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF women's soccer program and
head coach
Amanda Cromwell are pleased to announce the Central Florida Soccer
Academy camp schedule. The Day Camp will take place on June 8-12. They will
also host Elite Week One, which will be June 16-20, and Elite Week Two on
July 19-23.
After 10 successful seasons as head coach,
Amanda Cromwell will continue her coaching legacy by passing on insights
to young, thriving soccer players. The athletes will receive technical and
tactical instruction individually, in small groups as well as in team
settings. The camp allows the participants to sharpen skills, knowledge,
techniques and strategies on and off of the field.
The Day Camp will be Monday to Friday, beginning at 9 a.m. and concluding
at 4 p.m. Girls ages 6-14 are eligible to participate, while 4-5 year olds
can partake half-day. It is intended for the emerging soccer player who
desires to learn through repetitive skill work and instruction on the
technical and tactical side of the game.
Elite Week One is for girls ages 9-18, and additionally Elite Week Two is
for girls ages 13-18. These camps are designed for the advanced field player
and goalkeeper. The two programs have similar curriculums and are structured
the same. Campers will stay in the dorms on campus and are provided with all
meals.
