NSCAA/Adidas Division II National Rankings

WINTER PARK, Fla. (September 1, 2009) - After opening their season with an overall mark of 1-0, the Rollins women's soccer team hits the ground running, coming in at No. 11 in the first NSCAA/Adidas Division II National Poll announced Tuesday.

Coming in at No. 10 on the Preseason Poll, Rollins opened their 2009 slate with a 2-0 shutout victory over NAIA institution Savannah College of Art and Design over the weekend.  With their home opener set for Tuesday evening against Carthage College, the Tars hope to pick up their second win of the season.

The Tars will hit the road this weekend for their next contests as they travel out west to San Antonio, Texas, for a weekend of Division II action.  The women will take on the University of the Incarnate Word at 6:00 p.m. Central Time on Friday, September 4, and close out the weekend on Sunday, September 6 when they match up with Abilene Christian at 11:00 a.m. Central.
