Preseason Soccer Photo Gallery - Wednesday, August 5
TALLAHASSEE,
Fla. - Soccer season is officially here. The Florida
State women's soccer team kicked-off the 2009 campaign with their
first practice of the season inside the Seminole Soccer Complex
Wednesday morning.
In his fifth year as head coach of the Seminole soccer program,
Mark Krikorian welcomed this year's squad with a timed running
session and a series of drills on day one. The team will reconvene
for an afternoon practice beginning at 5:00 p.m.
A total of 22 student-athletes, including seven newcomers, make
up this year's team which is in search of their fifth College Cup
appearance in the last seven years.
The Seminoles will get their first taste of live action when
they square-off against Georgia in a preseason scrimmage at the
Seminole Soccer Complex on Friday, August 14 at 6:00 p.m. Florida
State returns to the field on Friday, August 21 at 7:00 p.m. in
the season opener at home against Jacksonville. Click below to
