Plant keeps on cruising TAMPA — Plant has played
at such a high level of late that even after defeating a solid Durant squad
2-1 Friday night at home — the team's 12th straight match without a loss —
the Panthers weren't happy.
"They didn't feel good," Plant coach Stephen McGill said. "They aren't
satisfied."
The reason?
The Panthers (14-1-1) think the score shouldn't have been so close.
"We had 27 shots," McGill said. "They had two."
Credit Durant (9-4-2), which got strong defensive play from keeper Meghan
Fox and defender Caitlin Dever, for hanging tough.
