Brady Garners Weekly Offensive Player of the Week Honors

ORLANDO, Fla. (November 2, 2009) - Rollins junior forward Chelsea Brady was named Sunshine State Conference Offensive Player of the Week it was announced by conference officials Monday. This marks the second Player of the Week recognition Brady has earned in her career.

The Melbourne, Fla. native scored two of the No. 8 Tars' three goals in a 3-0 win at Florida Southern, giving the squad its second consecutive SSC regular-season title. Brady netted the game winner in the 33rd minute and then sealed the contest by scoring the final goal in the 84th minute.

The top-seeded Tars will host the 2009 Sunshine State Conference Tournament. Tuesday's quarterfinal match-ups will be played at satellite locations with the final four being contested in Winter Park on Friday, November 6, and Sunday, November 8.

The semifinal matches and championship contest will be played at Barker Family Stadium and Cahall Sandspur Field. Fans will be able to watch and listen live to the semifinals and finals on the Tars Sports Network at RollinsSports.com.
