		July 28, 2008 Miami's Betty Ann Casey named Sunshine Conference Player of the Year In the Sunshine Conference, Kryger's Cocoa Expos also led the way with four selections which included leading scorer Stacey Jo Fletcher, midfield duo Jenn Montgomery & Courtney Baines and defender Katie Tullis. Miami's Betty Ann Casey (14 goals, six assists) was named the Conference Player of the Year - as she was one point shy of Utah's Megan Dickerson for second in league scoring - and Palm Beach United's Erin Switalski was selected Goalkeeper of the Year - who played every minute of every game this season, notching five shutouts.
