LAKELAND, Fla.--Make it 28 straight games for the Lady Fire.

Southeastern University women's soccer team pushed its unbeaten streak
within the South Region to 28 games, Thursday night, defeating Atlanta
Christian College, 4-0. The Lady Fire now advances to the South Region

seven minutes into the game.
Ressler made the score 2-0 in favor of the Lady Fire when she scored on a
penalty kick after a handball was called on an Atlanta Christian defender in
the box. Ressler converted on the penalty kick, blasting a low shot to the
left side of the ACC goalie.
Melissa Kennedy scored the final goal of the half when Kelsey Anthony
sent a crossing pass that Kennedy headed in, making the score 3-0 at the
half.
Hunt scored the only goal of the second half on an assist from Heather
Conner at the 55 minute mark.
Southeastern dominated ACC in shots, outshooting the Lady Chargers 31-6.
Southeastern goal keeper Jessica Thomas made two saves in the game and
earned her 10th shutout of the season.
