On a chilly night in Dade City, the Land o Lakes(12-8) girls soccer team defeated a good Pasco (8-11-2) team with two first half goals. The first goal was scored early in the game by Sophomore Alexis Villar. Villar had on an orange hat and it was a good thing because with out the hat I would have lost where she was on the field. She was very active all night playing at least 3 different positions that I could see. The second goal was scored by Senior Daniela Galindo, just before time expired in the first half, on a ball that was knocked around several times in the before Galindo buried in the back of the net.

Both teams seemed to be pretty evenly matched. Pasco Freshman Melissa Fletcher led her teams attack most of the night. Even though the coach moved her from side to side she was never able to get by the solid defense of Land O Lakes. Fletcher will definitely be on our watch list for next year.
