Housley’s Hat Trick Paces Red Devils

In Kathleen's 8 to 0 rout of Tenoroc, Mariah Housley's hat trick was more than enough to put away Tenoroc. Every time Housley touched the ball I thought she was going to score. Her pace was too much for the Tenoroc defense to handle, which opened up scoring opportunities for her teammates. The Red Devils also got two goals from Brooke Kaiser and single tallies from Trisha Hutchisson, Jenna Jarrett and Silvia Mata.

"This is a game we should've won and it was a good win; everybody got into the game and we had no injuries," head coach Kevin Nixon said.

Kathleen, seeded No. 2, also got a shutout from goalkeeper Bethany Harrison. It was Harrison's eighth of the year.
