Sophomore goalkeeper Vikki Alonzo has been named the Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending September 27 and Girls Soccer USA Elite Performer of the Week.

Alonzo, from Carrolton, Tex., set a school record with her 15th career shutout when the Hurricanes defeated the No. 9 ranked University of Maryland 2-0 on Sunday, the 27th.

With the shutout, Alonzo broke the old school record set for former Hurricane Lauren McAdam.
